Welcome to the Octagon!
We are a group of weavers and fiber enthusiasts from a range of backgrounds united by our love of fiber arts. We convene and weave in the Albert S. Potter House, an octagon-shaped historic home in what is now known as Carolina Village, Rhode Island. We offer a comprehensive weaving study program, individualized instruction, workshops, and a Master Weaver Certification program facilitated by Master Weaver Jan Doyle.
What We Offer:

Free monthly discussion groups - “Date with Drafting” and “Wine and Weaving”
Use of studio during open hours as well as private access during closed times.
Carolina Fiber Center Rates
Associate Membership - $50/year
Weaving Class - $275/semester (10 week class)
Private Consultation
At Octagon House - $25/hour
Home Consult - $50 for first hour, $25/hour thereafter
Master Weaving Program
Included in class fee for session students
Off site students - $300 per level, payable in advance

Normally we’d invite you to drop in during studio hours, but due to COVID-19, we are taking every precaution to keep our weavers safe. If you are interested in joining our group, please contact us through this website to arrange for a tour of the facility.
